SOOOOOO How often do you wash your hair?
- You may think that you wash your hair too often. I wash my hair every week, sometimes I try to push it further. If I'm feeling extra-build up though, I'll use a clarifying shampoo once a month (which is great for removing buildup from styling products and other gunk). This Clarifying Shampoo by Paul Mitchell is super affordable around $11 but this one is my favorite and you save money if you sign up for subscribe + save on Amazon.
- In addition to washing my hair regularly with shampoo, I also apply a growth treatment every other week and use dry shampoo on the days between washes.
- Heat protectant is a must when styling your mane because heat can dehydrate your strands. When we're talking about curly girls who want straight locks or vice versa—or anyone else who wants to protect their precious strands from heat damage—a good product can save the day! This heat protectant spray is an Amazon best seller and on price drop (at time of post), under $15!
Which day is your best hair day?
I know there's no right answer to this question, but I thought it would be fun to see how many people actually wash their hair on a daily basis. And remember, if you're lucky enough not to have issues with dry scalp or greasy roots and can stretch your washes by a day or two more than what the experts recommend, feel free to brag about it in the comments section!
Also what's your favorite dry shampoo ? I have psoriasis so only certain brands don't trigger my scalp.
I’ve always been a dry shampoo girl. I can’t remember anyone ever saying to me, “Oh my god, I have so much time for this! I’m going to wash my hair.” Everyone is busy and wants something quick and simple.
The first thing you need to know about dry shampoo is that it doesn't work the same on everyone's hair; it's different than the kind of clean you get when you shampoo your head with shampoo or conditioner. Dry shampoos help soak up excess oil from your scalp, leaving behind cleaner strands without getting rid of all natural moisture or volume (if there are any).
That being said, just as some people have sensitive skin that doesn't react well with certain ingredients found in conventional shampoos/conditioners (like me), some types of powders might be too harsh for other people's scalps as well—especially if their natural oils haven't had time to replenish themselves following a shower session or wash-n-go routine!
That said here's my Dry Shampoo Reviews… DryBar Detox is one of my absolute favorites! You can use this product every day on dry hair without worrying about build up because it's infused with nourishing antioxidants like jojoba oil which helps lock in moisture while also adding shine and softness back into your locks after each use.

IGK First Class is my #1 Dry Shampoo Review
The IGK First Class dry shampoo is a great option for those who want to keep their hair looking fresh between washes. It cleans my hair like no other dry shampoo I've tried.
The price of this product will vary depending on where you buy it from. But it's cheapest on Amazon when you choose the Subscribe + Save option!

Tip: Put it on a night so it absorbs while sleeping.
Need some extra help? Put it on a night so it absorbs while sleeping. This will help keep your scalp from getting oily, and the hair from getting greasy. Then you can go further between washing that can damage your hair.
Use a hair growth shampoo like Bondi Boost
- Bondi Boost is a sulfate-free shampoo that is designed to help you grow your hair faster.
- This hair growth shampoo contains the amino acid L-Cysteine, which has been shown in studies to improve hair growth by promoting keratin production.
- You can only find it on Ulta. It has over 9,000 reviews!
- Also all their products are under $30 so they're an affordable option for most – where a lot of other hair growth products can be overly speedy.
The product also includes vitamins and minerals that have been shown to be beneficial for hair such as biotin and zinc, as well as rosehip oil which has been shown in some studies to promote faster cell division (which means more new cells).
