Snackle Boxes for Kids – Perfect for Road Trip Snacks!
Planning a road trip for Easter or spring break with the family?
Rather than take several bags of snacks, fruits, nuts, crackers and cookies to pass around – consider making “Snackle-Boxes” for each kid!
To make these fun snack trays – use food-safe tackle/craft boxes to pack a variety of snacks that will keep little hands munching happily (We think big hands too) 😉 You also might want to whip up a batch of these Homemade Trail-mix Cookies that are PERFECT for road trips!
PPP Team Member Kristen recently put together some snackle-boxes and hers turned out so cute! Here's what she had to say:
I saw these on Pinterest and thought they were so cute – so I ordered these food-safe plastic craft boxes to make my own road trip snack packs.
These boxes are great for all kinds of things. Road trips, picnics, park days, even a long day of running errands and giving the kids something to look forward to after each stop. They are made of food safe plastic and super easy to remove the dividers to fit snacks of all sizes. And they aren’t just for kids, just change out the preferred snacks and you have a perfect snack box for any age. (Think Keto Snack box or Healthy Snacks)
I might even send these with my girls when they go to youth camp! I’m pretty sure they will be the ones everyone wants to sit next to – ha 🙂
You can customize these for your kids completely – from really healthy snacks to candy and treats galore (And wouldn't they be fun to take to a drive-in movie?).
Here are some fun road trip snack ideas to include:

If you're headed to the beach – these would be great to keep in a cooler with a variety of snacks to munch through the day. Better than sandy hands going into a bag of goldfish over and over!
