Planning your 4th of July party is as easy as 1, 2, 3!
- Choose a theme that's kid friendly. Anything from a firework theme to an all out patriotic extravaganza will work for your celebration. Don't forget the music! You can play some fun songs that are kid friends or rock out to the latest hits. Music always helps elevate the mood of a party.
- Make sure you have enough food and drinks for everyone who comes over to celebrate with you! We always keep things simple like hot dogs and basic burgers because they're easy and affordable too!
- Have plenty of room for guests so they can mingle freely throughout the evening without feeling trapped by other guests standing around them during conversations happening near them. And finally…4th of July party games for families…have plenty space available for games like tiki toss or cornhole board games so everyone can mingle and move around.

4th of July Decoration Ideas: Red White and Blue Silverware
Not only is red, white and blue a great color scheme for the Fourth of July, and an EASY ONE – you can find party supplies that are all in this patriotic palette to make your celebrations even more festive. You can also find red, white and blue silverware at stores like Walmart or Target.
Red White & Blue Napkins are another great way to add some color to your table setting. We found matching Disney ones at Walmart. Another fun way to add some patriotic flair are Red, White and Blue Straws. These ones were a Walmart find as well.
There's no need to settle on boring colors when you want something festive on the table – have fun with it. We also added a fun red, white and blue table runner to our party set up. We found this at Walmart in the $1 section. You can also add some fun accents like a Patriotic Pinwheel – they're perfect for sticking into cupcakes or decorating on their own.
Here's some EASY RECIPES for the Fourth of July!
Summer Decoration Ideas: Summer Popsicle Tablecloth
A summer popsicle tablecloth is the perfect way to add a fun pop of color to your picnic or BBQ. This tablecloth was only $3 at Target and can be used all year long! We love this one because it has our favorite popsicles on it (BOMB POPS!) , but there are so many options out there if you want something more specific like red, white and blue stripes.
The best part about this project is that it literally took us 15 minutes to pull the whole table together.

4th of July Party Food Ideas: Kid-Friendly Punch
For a kid-friendly punch, we used this great glass jar from Amazon. We bought it specifically so we could keep it in the fridge until we were ready to party. The lid is so secure that we can fill it all the way to the top and not worry about spills. 10 points to Amazon for this one! You could also find decor at your local dollar store as well.
We used Sprite Zero, + Red White + Blue Sorbet to make the kids punch. The sorbet helps keeps the drink nice and cool for playing outside. Or toss a bomb pop popsicle in their drink!
Red White And Blue Boozy Bomb Pop Drink for Mom

Boozy Bomb Pop Drink
Since we were making punch for the kids, I wanted to make a special drink for the adults. We used moscato + popsicles. You can also make this non-alcoholic with any beverage.
Want a quick, easy and inexpensive drink that you can make in minutes? Grab some of your favorite alcohol, tequila or vodka (or even a moscato wine). Take a frozen bomb pop and use it as the ice to keep it cool. Sit back and relax!
This is the perfect summer drink for any adults who want to feel like a kid again.
